I did my IDC with David and Colin in Bubbles dive center in November 2017! All course was top level of training, i learn a lot from David and Colin. Have no words to thank them for the training they provide and effort they put in teaching new instructor candidates! They dont teach you how to pass, they teach you how to get straight 5's! It was realy nice experience with lot of fun! Thanks a lot and hope to see you again above or underwater!!! Happy Bubbles!!!!

  I did my Divemaster with Dave. I not just learned a lot, I also had a awesome time and got so much Dive experience. Everyone from the Bubbles Instructor also helps me lots on my way to the Divemaster. Thx everyone thx u Dave for this amazing 3 Month Internship. See u next year!   I completed my IDC with David Hayler-Montague and Colin Scowcroft just recently and the first thing I'd like to say is a massive THANK YOU!!!. The incredibly high standard that they teach to ensured that I was more than prepared for the IE at the end of the week. Throughout the whole IDC and IE the support that I received from both Dave and Colin was above and beyond anything I ever could have expected. Words cannot express how invaluable the experience has been and with the help of Dave and Colin's invaluable experience and knowledge I now feel ready to competently go out into the world as a PADI instructor.   I did my IDC with David Hayler-Montague and Colin Scowcroft at Bubbles CDC, last November, and I literally have nothing bad to say! From beginning to end, everything was amazing. David and Colin helped, guided and taught me (and of course the other students) through the full IDC and the exams. As they said during the preparation week, they dedicated themselves completely to us. You can pass with a 3, but why not go for that perfect 5, is what they said, be confident with what you are doing.The first week was a preparation week, so simply get to the level you need to have before the course starts. I am so happy I did that week! David really helped me a lot, because I got to practice skills I was not very sure about and learn things I had never done before. So if you are in doubt, definitely do this, it is the best kind of preparation you can get! The second week, the IDC, the real work started. David and Colin really gave us the time to develop, become confident, while challenging us to bring out the best. In the end I had so much fun while learning everything. David and Colin are not only course directors, they are coaches and friends, and I can highly recommend them! Thank you both so much for everything!

  I did my Instructor Development Course at Bubbles Dive Centre with course directors David Hayler-Montague and Colin Scowcroft in November 2016. Dave and Colin became my coaches, mentors and good friends while doing the course. We all had plenty of time to develop at our own pace and have fun at the same time. Dave and Colin didn't want us to just pass the examination, they wanted us to feel confident and happy about what we were doing. And it is in their highest interest that the IDC candidates master everything that is necessary to pass the Instructor Examination with great scores. The very high level of training made the actual Instructor Examination a fun and easy experience. And that is why I cannot recommend these two guys highly enough. Thank you for making my dream come true!

  I completed my IDC with David and Colin at Bubbles Dive Centre (Gozo) in May 2016 - it was one of the hardest and simultaneously most rewarding experiences of my life.David and Colin are both inspirational trainers, they push you hard and as a result you will achieve more than you ever imagined.David is always enthusiastic and thoroughly professional, with a great sense of humour. He truly is a great role model for all inspiring Instructors.If you're wondering whether to choose David as your Course Director for the IDC - the simple answer is Yes!

  Just before the IDC was about to start I realized that I had forgotten something to bring with me to Gozo. So I asked David (half serious): Would now be a good time to freak out about it? He said: No, you don't need to freak out, about nothing. There is always a way to work it out. Well, that was exactly how it was. There was always a way to sort things out, there was never a question that couldn't be asked or an answer that wasn't given. Thanks to his training we all passed with flying colors. David puts a lot of passion and effort not only in his dive center but also in the instructor training. Having him there with us as moral support and looking after us during the IE meant a lot to us. It was quite touching seeing him pacing up and down the parking lot while we gave our final debriefs. And seeing his beaming face when one after the other got the so longed for handshake by the examiner was brilliant. I can only highly recommend the instructor development course run by David in Gozo.

  Couldn't have asked for a better Course Director for my IDC! Not only did David prepare me in a very patient and enthusiastic manner, he genuinely cared about getting the high results that I achieved at the IE. He taught the course in a very structured and safe way, and he was always open to any and all questions. David doesn't just want you to pass - he wants you to achieve the highest possible results and prepares you in that way. I learnt many invaluable lessons from David and am very happy to have done my IDC with him when I did. Thanks for everything! Very highly recommended!

  I did my Rescue, Divemaster, Wreck, Cavern, Deep and Instructor Course with Dave and couldn't recommend a better teacher. He is very patient, safety oriented and takes the time to make sure you are comfortable with every part of the course. I would definitely recommend doing your Divemaster and Instructor Course with Dave. Had an amazing summer and learned tonnes 🙂

  Fantastic instructor. Always patient and willing to ensure that the correct amount of care and attention is taken and allows as much time as is necessary to create confidence within a person. Understands that everyone is different and takes this into account with his teaching styles. Highly recommend.
